1. Hydrate from the Inside Out
The human body is made up of 50 to 75% water.  One would think with all this water, it would leave us sufficiently hydrated. However, this is not the case! Our bodies need extra liquid to stay hydrated.
Here are a few ways to help keep your body hydrated from the inside out:
Drink lots of water 2 liters per day
Eat fresh fruits and vegetables
Cut back on salty and fried foods

2. Moisturize your Skin
Face - Oil based moisturizers have more staying power then creams and are more effective at helping your skin retain water. Regardless of the type of moisturizer, you can clog your pores if you over-moisturize. The best time to moisturize include:

After you shower or bath while drying off
After washing your hands and face

3. Exfoliate your Skin
After a long Winter, exfoliating the Winter damaged skin should be a part of your Spring into Summer routine. Not all exfoliators are made equal, and in addition may not be appropriate for your face or body. Tips for Exfoliation –
Obtain a free skin consultation from a professional skin therapist, when it comes to your face
Body exfoliation are more forgiving, most mechanical exfoliation would do

4. Avoid Excessive Bathing
It seems a little ironic that standing in a shower or soaking in a bath would dry out your skin, but it does. While bathing removes all the days’ germs, it also washes away your body’s natural oils. Of course, you can’t avoid bathing altogether, but you can limit its negative effects on your skin by doing the following:
Use warm water instead of hot
Limit the time of each shower or bath to (5 to 10 min)
Avoid deodorant bars, antibacterial soaps, perfumed soaps, and skin care products containing alcohol

Spring is Allergy Season – You Should Know, that Stress is Tied to Worse Allergy Symptoms
Study found those with Hay Fever who had high levels of stress suffered more severe symptoms
Stress may trigger symptom flare-ups in people with seasonal allergies, a new study suggests.
Researchers followed 179 people with hay fever for 12 weeks, and found that 39 percent of them had more than one flare-up. Those patients had higher levels of stress than those who didn't have allergy symptoms during the study period.
Sixty-four percent of the participants with higher stress levels had more than four flare-ups over two 14-day periods, according to the findings in the April issue of the Annals of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology.
There was no significant link between stress and flare-ups on the same day, but a number of people had flare-ups within days of experiencing increased daily stress, the researchers said.
"Stress can cause several negative effects on the body, including causing more symptoms for allergy sufferers," study author Dr. Amber Patterson, of Ohio State University, said in a journal news release. "Our study also found those with more frequent allergy flares also have a greater negative mood, which may be leading to these flares," she added.
"Symptoms, such as sneezing, runny nose and watery eyes can cause added stress for allergy sufferers, and may even be the root of stress for some," Patterson said. "While alleviating stress won't cure allergies, it may help decrease episodes of intense symptoms."
Although the study found an association between stress levels and severity of allergy symptoms, it did not prove a cause-and-effect relationship.
Ways to reduce and control stress include: meditation and deep breathing; making time for fun and relaxation; eating right, getting sufficient sleep and taking care of health issues; asking for help from a family member, co-worker or social worker; and eliminating things that cause stress and learning how to cope with it better.

5 TIPS FOR THE MORNING
How do you start your day? Do you lie in bed minutes after the alarm has gone off? Do you give yourself a short amount of time and rush to get out of the door? Do you eat breakfast? Do you tell your partner and children, "I love you?"
Starting your day with intention and being nourished is a great springboard into a day of abundance.
Take a look to see if there is anything you can do during the night before that will give you more time for your mornings. For example, making lunch and ironing clothes.

You may watch television in the night and morning. At night, attempt to turn off the television one hour before going to sleep. This will enable the mind to relax and give you a more restful sleep to wake up at the time you set. In the morning, the few minutes of attention you may spend watching television can be switched to yourself and loved ones.

Take the time to sit and eat without being in a rush. Nourish yourself before you leave home. If you have a family, take this opportunity for all of you to eat together. Try one day out of the week. Stick with it and build.

Remember you are breaking your fast (breakfast) from sleeping. Think about this... Would you work for 6-8 hours and have coffee or bowl of cereal? Or would you have a meal? It's important to nourish your being to prepare for the day ahead of you.

Set your intention before leaving home. Tell yourself, "I love me!" Tell your family, "I love you!" Tell your neighbor, "I love you too!" Mornings can be the time for great inspiration. So be inspired and nourished before you leave your home.
