Dr Brown honored by AME YPD
Congratulations Team NMAC!
On June 24th 2022, Dr. Kyjuan Brown was honored by the AME Church youth for his hard work with the Covid-19 Pandemic and community service. He shares this award with his NorthShore Medical Center team and says he rocks because his team rocks! To God be the glory! Dr Brown says that "He can do ALL things through Christ which strengthens him."
The night was amazing and just what Bermuda needed after the Covid-19 pandemic to celebrate our youth and honor those adults who helped our youth and moved Bermuda forward. The evening was filled with talented youth who hosted, played musical instruments, and danced to showcase their talents. Well done to the AME YPD Division, from the staff of Northshore Medical & Aesthetics Center.
From the AME YPD Host Organization: The Bermuda Conference YPD is a registered charity #159 that aims to teach young people about leadership, giving back to the community and relationship building. iRock! will be a night where we come together as a conference, to highlight the gifts and talents of our young people and celebrate some of their accomplishments. The night will take the form of an award show with ministry from youth from AME churches and the community, in dance, song, drama and music, followed by an after party/ praise bash in the lower hall. Yearly we present the Chautauqua award to persons who have served the community and are deemed worthy of recognition and honor. As we have all been affected by Covid-19 and the pandemic, we have chosen to award the Chautauqua Award to persons who have been on the front line assisting with the pandemic. This year we have selected Dr. Kyjuan Brown as one of our honorees to receive the Chautauqua Award. We are thankful for the support Dr Brown has given and continue to give to not only the YPD, but to Bermuda as a whole.
